Now that Glee has had it's fall finale all my favorite shows are done until next year. This makes my soul cry.

White Collar isn't back until January, same with Supernatural, Lost doesn't come back until February, and Glee isn't back until April. APRIL!!! WHAT. THE. FUCK.

I'm watching Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, because I like my random extra random.

Next week is finals. This almost makes up for all my fav shows not being on until next year.

I finally deleted Heroes off of my DVR. My only regret is that I didn't do it two seasons ago.

So I stopped doing NaNoWriMo about half-way through because it interfered with my homework time too much. But I got to just over 15,000 words with The Alchemist and the Archer.

1. How do I have so many tags? 138? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

2. Finally done with Paradise Lost. I can't explain how happy that makes me.

3. So crazy excited for Supernatural tonight.

4. I love ontd_startrek so hard. Reading the replies makes my day every day no matter how bad that day has been.

5. Sucking hard at NaNo so far. Whatevs. Work and school comes first, unfortunately. Even tomorrow, which is my first day off in two and a half weeks, it's all about writing my English paper and my working bibliography for my second Milton paper.

6. As the subject suggests, I can't seem to give a shit lately. Yesterday I did a short presentation on a section from Book 10 of Paradise Lost and misinterpreted the first part of it. The strangest thing, I didn't really care. I haven't cared about anything like that in the last few months, not since I found out about the one class I'm going to have to take in the winter. In some areas not caring has been kinda awesome, I don't get embarrassed any more and I really don't care what other people think of me. But it's also kinda scary, mostly because I've stopped caring about schoolwork. I do the work as best I can, I just don't care if I get it wrong. I've also had a tendency lately to just say whatever pops into my head, without thinking it through first.

7. Missing Atlanta a lot lately. Today was the strangest: I missed the airport. Random much?

NaNoWriMo - Day Four

I'm counting this as day four because I probably won't get a chance to write later today. Pretty slow start so far, but it's taken me a while to get back into a creative mode. I swear, the longer I'm in school the less creative I get. I've had full blown writer's block for months now, but this is kinda helping me get past that. Not only am I writing The Alchemist and the Archer I'm also writing a couple of fics for White Collar which if you haven't watched yet you should. The slash is amazing.

1. Why the fuck did I let my mom friend me on Facebook? Now I can't post anything on there that I don't want her to know about. I made a vague reference to how I was hoping to get closer to someone on Saturday (my class is going on a trip to Ann Arbor and Dan is going with us, apparently for shits and funsies) and she got all weird. She was like "You are going with your class, right?" Okay, A. None of your fucking business and B. even if I wasn't, I wouldn't tell you.

2. How is Supernatural so awesome? Seriously, I'm hardcore loving this season.

3. I'm watching Stargate Universe. I thought I might as well give it a chance. But if there's no slash, it's not Stargate and I'm not watching it. There needs to be a Jack/Daniel or John/Rodney on this show for me to really get into it. Don't get me wrong, I might have watched SG1 or Atlantis without the slash, but that's what got me started. And let's face it, once Rodney hooked up with Keller on Atlantis the show started going downhill. Coincidence? I think not.

General consensus for this episode can be summed up in one word: Meh.

Loved the Sylar/Matt stuff. And that was pretty much it. Noah was pretty good, but he's been better and way more badass. No idea what's going on with the new characters and could really care less.

Now comes my internal debate on whether I should keep DVR/watching the show. Was not really impressed. All I really care about watching is Sylar. And I could probably find all that on YouTube the next day.

Atlanta: Awesome as always. I had a strange birthday, though. We were going to go to Johnny's Hideaway, BUT THE POWER WAS OUT. WTF?! And it was just on that one block, right down the road, it was on. Weird. But we ended up at the Cheesecake Factory, which has amazing food, BTW. And the greatest cheesecake in the universe.

District 9: I think I might be slightly obsessed. Yesterday, without even thinking about it, I called my dogs "fookin' Prawns" because they were eating my cat's food.

Lost: Finished season 4 last night. Now I'm downloading season 5. So hopefully I'll be ready when the *gasp* FINAL season starts. I still can't believe it'll be over!

School: I start classes tomorrow! My last semester!!! I'm so fucking happy I could cry. I'm actually hoping to get my audit soon so I can just pay it and get that much closer to graduation.

I changed my user icon because I FUCKING LOVE DISTRICT 9! I went to go see it on Saturday with the family. It took a little bit to get into it, but once it got going, it was absolutely amazing. I've made a few other icons from the movie and will probably make a few more once I get back from Atlanta.

Speaking of Atlanta, I'm leaving Wednesday and I haven't even started packing yet. It probably won't take that long to do, so I'll probably get to it tomorrow after work. My birthday is on Friday and I'm pretty super excited. Karen and I are going to go barhopping and I might get another tattoo. I think I might be addicted ;)

Anyway, go see District 9. Besides Star Trek, it's the best summer movie out there.

Watching Merlin. Gaius is about to man rape Arthur. I forgot how awesome this episode is. Holy shit, this is my fave part! Uther basically tells Merlin he approves of Merlin/Arthur. It's the moment I stop thinking Uther is such a d-bag. And then the whole To Kill the King episode happens and I kind of change my mind. But then my mind goes back to thinking he's not such a d-bag at the end of To Kill the King and during Le Morte d'Arthur. I need the second series like yesterday.

What the hell is with NBC airing Sci-fi (sorry, SyFy) channel movies? The Storm? WHAAAAAAAAAT?

I've also started re-watching Lost. Last night I realized while watching "Born t0 Run" that the lunchbox that Kate and Tom bury their time capsule in is the same one that Jacob bought for her.

I'm also getting really excited because my brother's wedding is Saturday and so most of my family is in town. I get to see both my brothers and my uncle. There's also going to be a bar at the wedding. This pleases me greatly.

My b-day is coming up in a few weeks. I'm incredibly excited because I'm going to Atlanta to celebrate. I'm hoping to go back to the bar that has 1800 on tap. Also, me and Karen are driving back to Michigan which should be interesting, if not vasts amounts of fun. And Karen will be giving me her puppies to take care of! So far, I'm loving August.

Less than a month until I start classes again. But I'm really happy to be seeing as this is my last semester!

2 WEEKS!! I demand an explanation for this bullshit! Oh, so "The Storm" is basically "The Day After Tomorrow." Switching over to Defying Gravity. Uh, yeah, he's a little right about the whole "people exploding when exposed to the vacuum of space" thing. Not crazy impressed so far, the acting/writing is so-so. Why does she look older in the flashback? I think I'd like this show better without the voice over.

Just flipped over to The Storm and Luke Perry and Dawson's Creek are trying to predict the weather with math equations. Apparently there's a hole in the ion layer of the atmosphere or something.
